We are glad you are here!

Confirmation is not just a Lutheran tradition. It's the time in a child's life when they start learning the basic foundations of the Lutheran faith through Luther's Small Catechism and the Bible. Through this process they will deepen their faith, affirm their baptismal covenant, and be able to better answer a few questions: 

• What does the church teach? 
• Do I believe it?
• Why do I believe it?
• What difference should it make in my life?

After they struggle with and answer these questions they will make a public statement of faith before God and the congregation. For more information see the Confirmation Frequently Asked Questions. 

Basic Class Information

You will find memory work, assignments, and a copy of the sermon report form on the MEMORY & ASSIGNMENTS page. Please sign up to bring snacks below!

Please bring to class every week:  

• Confirmation Notebook (provided)
• Folder for Class Handouts
• Luther's Small Catechism (provided)
• A Holy Bible 


• Class runs Wednesdays from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. with a short snack break around 5:00 pm.
• If a student misses a class session, s/he is responsible for completing any memory work, or other assignments before the next class session.
• If a topic arises in the media, or in a student’s life, we will certainly take time to discuss it in class if I think it would be beneficial.
