It is Good to Give to the Lord

Due to the Covid-19 isolation contributions have dropped greatly. Please remember to give as you are able. The bills continue to come. There are many ways to give to the Lord. You may:
  1. Mail a check to the church at: St. John Lutheran Church, 440 Ohio St., P.O. Box 189, Sterling, NE 68443.
  2. When you are out and about, bring it to the church and slip it under the church office door.
  3. Talk to your bank about setting up and ACH transfer (electronically moving money between banks). It is more cost effective way of transferring funds than using a debit or credit card. Contact your bank to set this up. They will ask all the important questions to make sure your transfer is done right.  Learn more about ACH transfers here. 
  4. Donate using your debit or credit card via our Paypal button (at right). This is a relatively simple process. You DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT to donate using Paypal. All donations will go to the general fund unless a designated fund is added.*
* There is always a fee associated with a transactions using a debit/credit card. Paypal passes that fee on to the user and adds a small fee of their own. For example, the church receives $97.50 of a $100 donation.
